I have been so inspired by this whole experience and grateful to John Mullican for the opportunity and the care he has shown for this production and everyone involved. Thanks to Rickie Peete for finding me and being a wonderful director, to Fran Montano for being a joy to work with on the same side of the stage(!) and to the whole cast and crew for their dedication, kindness and friendship.”

John Mullican • Arturo/ Playwright
Thank you for being here and supporting local theatre. I’ve worked as a WGA writer, a non-union actor, a studio advertising creative director, and an agency art director. This play came to me during the pandemic when I would listen to music alone in our garage, unable to see our family and friends, and “The DJ” would speak to me. This is based on a true story. It all happened, more or less just like this, but in different timelines. Huge shout out to my husband, John, for always telling me that “nothing bad is going to happen.” I’m so grateful for today.
